Meet Carolyn
Even though I was saved when I was 4, I struggled with severe anxiety, insecurity, fits of anger, and depression for most of my life. I felt like I had to control my environment and perform well to be accepted by others and be happy with myself. Failure and success or how valued I felt by others drove how I felt about myself. I knew my Bible, prayed, taught Sunday School and Youth Group, participated in Bible studies and small groups, and went to Bible school. I knew what Jesus did on the cross for me. I “tried” hard to live the Christian life. I really loved God and knew He loved me. I knew I was supposed to have the fruit of the Spirit, but I didn’t, and I had no idea what was wrong.

When I first met Carolyn, I was at a place of desperation. I had been struggling with paralyzing anxiety. I caved and met with Carolyn as a last resort.
I’ve been a follower of Christ nearly all my life, but I’ve never known Christ the way Carolyn spoke of Him. The Biblical truth spoken through her has been life-changing for me. It is so evident that not only does she have a deep knowledge of the Holy Spirit, but she has a tender relationship with Him. During the last two years as Carolyn has walked alongside me, I’ve been able to see both the power and gentleness of the Holy Spirit in my life. I live differently because she directed me to what Scripture says, how to pray, who God is, and who I am to Him. It’s been a journey, and my journey continues, but I’d repeat it in a heartbeat.
Thank you so much for coming here to Zambia. Even though I called myself a child of God and a servant of God, there were some things that I needed to learn. You gave me such a gift. I was able to recognize that from the time I was born until the time I got married, I had never felt loved and I’d never seen that love, even from my parents. I wanted to be loved in my life, but I had started hating myself completely, and I never loved anybody. The reason I stopped loving was that I had self-pity. But this teaching is healing me! I’ve prayed that God would fill me with love and that I’d feel accepted and loved. This teaching you brought me has brought life to my soul!
Now I’ve been filled with love from God and I’ve accepted that love. I feel that now I will be able to love because before, as I prayed, there was something within my heart I could feel that was not complete. But today I am complete with love. I am healed.
For almost forty years I have been an active Christian — following my Lord and growing in His spiritual grace. However, I was not prepared for the incredible spiritual journey that God would lead me through these past two years! The process of consistent repentance and release of every sin, every thought, every action, and every behavior that is not lined up with God’s perfect way has freed me from strongholds I never thought possible! The torment of fear, anxiety, unbelief, negative thinking, infirmity, and so much more have been replaced with the peace that passes all understanding and a faith that God really can move mountains no matter how big or impossible they seem to be!
I really do feel His presence so near to me, guiding me. My eyes are no longer blinded and now I can see the sins in myself and others, which allows me to pray prayers of repentance over these sins, speak God’s truths over them, and release them to our Heavenly Father so that HE can battle the strongholds away for me and others. I am no longer striving to fight these spiritual battles by myself. Instead, I take them to Him and let Him do it! The success rate is so much better this way!
I am eternally grateful to my Lord for leading Carolyn to introduce me to this process of persistent repentance, and for her encouragement through my spiritual journey. It is walking me out of so much struggle, strife, torment, and pain! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Still, you may often feel trapped by those feelings of anxiety, worry, and hopelessness. We were not created to live like this. We believe that Christians shouldn’t be living with strongholds that leads to constant anxiety, worry, and fear. We understand what it’s like to feel constantly defeated. That is why, after our own journeys to spiritual healing, we’ve embarked on this journey to help others find the same healing. This healing and freedom can only truly be found in Jesus Christ.
Are any of these strongholds holding you back from a fulfilled life?
Spiritual strongholds are just that — a place in us where sin has set up a fortress; a well-defended center of beliefs and activities. It is a place where the bricks of sin have been laid over and over until a fortress has been erected. It is a place in your beliefs and thoughts that is secured tightly in case of attack (from the Truth) and where a particular belief is firmly believed and staunchly defended. And it is a lie.
